Server problems
#1
Dear LVP Players,

At this moment there're a few problems with Las Venturas Playground, the server keeps crashing with the Las Venturas Playground gamemode.
Badeend and Nakebod are currently investigating the problems.

We will keep you posted on new developments.

Small status update:

Current move: LVP 2.70 and not LVP 2.74.
Currently it looks like it's running again.
But the period till the last crash is to short to be sure.

If it continues to run this way we can try LVP 2.74 again.

I hope it gets fixed soon! It will be a real shame if all the effort badeend has put into the new minigames, are unstable :S
#4
Hmm, damn, didn't think about this... LVP 2.70 got the anit-flooder built in, and enabled.
So people are getting kicked and banned now by mistake...

If it happens to you, post here, or in the ban forum, or at IRC.

Small update again:

Running, and testing, and running, and testing...
Currently, it looks, again, to run fine.
But still not sure.

Good to see. It's been half an hour since the last crash, which is pretty good. O+

I guess we'll have to wait it out to see if the problem persists - only time will tell. :)
#7
Yeah, if it's running for more then 1 hour we state is as stable.
There will be a server restart asap, to change the player limit back to 100.

Update:

The server seems to be 'kind of' stable now. It's running for 40 minutes straight now, where we didn't manage to keep the server up for 10 minutes today. Don't expect to have a crash-free night though, since i don't really don't trust it yet :X

Appreciate what all U guys have done for the server. Must be hard, so respect  :)

Hope it works out so it doesn't crash anymore  :7

Currently it still crash, atm once per hour seems to be our new standard.
I don't know how much we can do about it.. seems that we have tried everything.

Even littlewhitey helped were he could help us.
We can't promise anything for this night, since we have temporary disabled the automatic restart-after-crash stuff (Seems to crash even more with the cronjob enabled)
So there might be a chance that the isn't a server this night.
