It's called an opinion, when creating a topic you're bound to get lots of them.

I get it, anyone who isn't crew hasn't the right to their own opinion.

If you're not interested in it, why would you reply to a topic that you think is useless? Makes more sense to not reply at all.

If people decided to keep their opposite opinions to themselves, discussions would end up being completely bias.

Imo his posts make perfect sense - i know it seems to be an "interesting" topic, but its also useless for all of us, because before we could even do something with all those planets, we're dead already anyways.

Everyone has the right to post and unless it's an annoying post or anything, it's fine.

And I don't want to see that ever again.

This topic was not made to discuss whether Astronomy is useful or not. I made it out of appreciation and amazement at how big some stars in our galaxy are. There are no "sides" in this discussion. Take it as an Anime Forum; if you aren't interested in it, why would you join it? It's just a forum for people who are interested about it and wish to discuss further about it.

And I made my reply saying astronomy is a useless subject, unless you're an astronomer you shouldn't be offended.

I wasn't offended. I just thought your reply was useless.

Maddolis: I heard about Europa. The first time I heard it, I remember I got so fascinated with the thought that life could exist in another place other than Earth. Even though not likely, I sure wish that they'll find some other planet similar to Earth while I'm still alive.

I strongly believe life exists outside of earth, but I think it'd just be something like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anaerobic_organism or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giant_tube_worm (which could possibly live on Europa).
The real question is whether or not intelligent life exists outside of earth or within this forum
