Help with COD4.

Whenever I run COD4:MP and click "join server" I get the error that iw3mp.exe is not working and my game crashes. I have reinstalled the game, and searching for solutions it may be something do to with Vista sound drivers? I uninstalled a sound driver but never did anything else, any solutions.

try system restauration to a point of time ur cod4 still worked

My Cod4 barely ever crashes...

if so, plug in out and back in or just leave it out for a min, worked for me


I believe there's another fix too, but I'll have to look that up

Thanks to Maka i got it working he sent me his config i replaced mine with his and i didnt crash.
