Its not cuz they aren't selling, its because the manufacturing costs are dropping.

Yeah, and BR-Discs can hold way better quality :)

while normal movie DVDs only hold about ~8GB, a BD disc can hold 50-100GB.

well you only see the big quality difference on bigger TVs (40 inches and higher) and you see it best if you got a Full-HD TV (resolution 1920x1080) =D

Its not really about the screen size, its about how close your are sitting to the screen. I can notice a huge dif between 480p and 1080p on my 22" monitor since im sitting so close to it.

You gotta be fucking blind, I only said that you ps3 fanboys used to say "PS3 HAS A ENTERNET BROWSER, 360 DONT LOL 360 SUCKS". Come to Portugal and I'll show you the receipt that I got it since 06, with no rrod. And who the fuck buys a console to watch movies? Rofl, only movies I've seen in my 360 have been DVDs, I couldn't care less about "HD CLEAR PIKTRUE", because it's a fucking waste of money.
Why watch movies in PS3? CAUSE ITS BLU-RAY! Lol seriously man , go do a research. And who cares about it being clearer? THEN WHATS THE POINT OF HIGH DEFINITION BEING INVENTED? lol Your retarded. Point is BLu-Ray got a clearer picture(aka better HD) then then 360, so that means when i play , i get higher FPS and clearer picture, unlike the 360 , its clear , but u still see the pixels making up the picture. PS: Blu-ray is HD, not better than HD.

@Sean3 Blu-Ray is just HD (Full-HD = 1920x1080 pixels, HD-Ready 1280x720 pixels).

The blu-ray disc WONT make your movie look any better aslong as your TV doesnt support either FullHD or HD-Ready.

And you won't get higher FPS from it :), it just plays movies in better quality because that better quality now fits on the disc (~50GB space), which wasnt the case with normal DVDs (~8GB space).

LOL Then why buy a HDTV if you aint gonna put it in HD? And yeh , it does play movies in better quality , thats all i need. So gf gf , PS3 wins the scene again.

Your saying that the PS3 is a better GAMING console because it plays Blu-ray movies? If so then your sadly mistaken. No matter the movie playing ability, the gaming experience is what sells a console.

The fact that it plays on a blu ray disc has nothing does not affect the FPS you get in games or the clarity of the picture.
