Maybe you could change to color of 'time' to white or black (don't know if that looks better then this tho). And maybe it also looks better if you just use outer glow instead of shadow.

Ok, i took all the criticism on board, and changed the colour scheme competely. I decided that using my favourite colours wasn't always what makes things look best, so i used the colours most suited.

I went for a more futuristic theme this time aswell.
