I'm trying to copy your sig XL, to see how to do it, but I just can't work out how to actually put a picture in the letters

I don't know if you did that but I also used an gradient over the letters. This makes the letters look kinda bold.

OK, well I messed around a little. This isn't what you wanted I didn't have a picture of your character, but it was also for me to mess around and see what I could do.
