Anyways, I heard it was because of the DirectX sound configuration (In windows XP). I read about a possible solution, you might try it, it might work: go on Home->Run, type in dxdiag. It should bring a window, select "Sound", and where it says "Hardware sound acceleration" or something try to move the slider wether on "Basic acceleration" or "No acceleration". Close the window and try with a restart.
Yeah when i first got GTA
A for my PC and discovered the countless idiotic sound bugs i went and googled it and came across that solution. Thing is, after you deaccelerate your acceleration, the sound is shit, i mean really, really shit.I don't deaccelerate, i found a EAX.dll patch online and thought that would sort it but it didn't.
Still working on a fix ...
