Admin abuse

So I was playing today and then I fought both Barry and some FH guy at the same time. I managed to kill the FH guy but not Barry. Then Barry said something which I don't remember right now, but he was bragging about the kill. I said "don't be cocky" and then I was muted. I asked on the admin thing (@text) why I was muted, and he told me for that it was because of the flaming, and I told him that "cocky" isn't flaming, then he said for me not to be angry at him because he was only doing his "job" (this is flamebaiting and you can't deny it). I called him an idiot after, and he said something like "now you flamed".

Even if this is little, it's annoying and it counts as admin abuse, which isn't allowed.

I pretty much agree with you that he was wrong.
He either doesn't know the meaning of the word(but why mute for it if you don't) or he trying to get you to flame.

I find this to be a weird response:

Although I didn't know the exact meaning for "why so cocky" (And now I do) I can imagine that he muted for that if you don't know the exact meaning.
I don't say that it was right in this case, but I guess you can get the "reasoning" why he muted you.

But I have to make a small remark about your response: "google the meaning of it, idiot", this isn't very nice.
For non-native English people are this kind of expressions not always clear in their meaning. So I can understand the reason why Barry temp-muted you in the first place. But I don't understand the mute directly after that..

I disagree. If you don't know the word, ask him/someone else what it means. Why mute if you don't know if it's bad or not.. In this case, it's not a reason to mute.

Of course that part wasn't very nice, that would've justified a mute, but that was after a undeserved mute.

That mute? Blame SmackBot Or well, Barry for using SmackBot He did !swear 69 too many times, which made SmackBot mute him. Which is why he should use !why-swear
