/v colour

This idea is taken from another server except there, it's for cars. I'm talking about adding this for helicopters and planes so you can change the colour. Not a HUGE idea but it would be cool.

It takes the form of an " i " information icon, you land in it/by it and type /v colour and two colour id's for example /v colour 3 3 or if you wanted two different colour's you would change the numbers to suit.

What is wrong with Transfenders or PayNSpray though?

Well, what's wrong with them is.. most, or all , transfenders and pay n spray's aren't big enough to fit a heli or an airplane in it
So it wouldn't be that bad imho.
Players can choose a new paintjob they like in the transfender (Or a random one @ pay n spray), but only with normal vehicles.

Ah right. Not a bad idea then I guess. Would be pretty nice for other vehicles that don't work in modshops as well as air vehicles, such as motorbikes. Maybe it could be an unlockable feature though instead of it just costing money. E.G, it unlocks after you get some driving experience, or spend a certain amount of money at modshops?

I don't like the idea of it just using IDs though. Not every player knows colour IDs, maybe just the basic colours could be based off a menu (Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, Orange, Purple, White, Black). Obviously since there are over 250 colours we couldn't list every colour in a menu though (well we could, but it wouldn't be very good). So as well as the menu, add an optional method of entering IDs?

Yeah you could like, put up a list of colour id's / names stickied on the forums somewhere xD. I like the idea of it being an unlockable feature, maybe to Regular user's and when you have spent enough money in a certain place, ie/ Transfender .. PayNSpray's ... or like you say, after a certain level of driving skill has been attained.

How hard would it be to script though ? I have no idea about scripting lol xD
