But seriously I don't listen to Cradle of Filth, but I must've heard that song 20 times on Brutal Legend doing the Stage Battle against the emos, and got the chorus in my head.
I haven't heard a great deal of black metal, but I don't mind the odd song here or there. Definitely not one of my favourite genres though, and I'd say the same for death metal.

It's fun as all hell, but I passed the storyline in only 2 days on the hardest difficulty (but that was about 6-8 hours, I was addicted!)
Definitely worth a rent, maybe a buy if it's cheap there.
