[Feature] Nuke

I remember Jay developed some kinda nuke system on his WW3 server a while ago.

What would this be? Chaos. Ship fighting would be enabled, no boundaries. "A nuclear attack is imminent. T-5 minutes!"

They would have to flee LV. The explosion would start at the centre of LV near the ship, and would work its way out. New players that join would simply be told that a nuclear attack is currently underway, and they may choose to spawn to their probable death outside LV or watch. The explosion would work its way out, until it covers nearly every part of LV. SAMs should be deployed from Area69 to those flying due to them being suspected of dropping the nuke.

This would exterminate everything, however if people survive this, their names are listed at the end as the heroes or something.

We'd have some epic escaping scenes -- driving an infernus through the countryside, with everything blowing up behind you!!!

Once dead, you should be dead until the end of the nuclear explosion. The explosion shouldn't last more than a minute, or it gets boring.

At the end, all players are re-spawned (even the survivors), and the survivors are given $2,000,000 in cash. Well in!

The nuclear bomb spot should be created by an administrator, with the centre perhaps their position. This means, sometimes, the bomb can be hidden underground. Perhaps then we could have some kind of de-activation which would earn $5,000,000?

De-activation would be complicated, and you'd have to pick which cable to snip? :+

Maybe a bit too far, but you can see how there's a lot which can be done.

How the hell did you know I had a nuec @ my server :?

Anyway, I don't know if this will work. GTASA has an explosion limit, only about 10 explosions can show at a time, and increasing/decreasing the radius appears to do nothing. I guess its explosion type dependent. At my server, when the nuec is launched, just a few simple explosions explode around the player, and thats basically it. Too many can cause lag, crashes, or just basically not show.

But there wouldn't need to be too many explosions, simply time them out properly. Maybe even have the nuke only effect LV? And a lower time to escape, like a minute. You could simply chain the explosions outward. And you'd be creating an explosive band which would spread outwards, so only one line of explosions.

Too many would lag anyway so..

You could simply nuke the players in range in the order of nearest to the epicenter.

But that's not the same -- you want to be able to see the explosion behind you as you flee. Makes it epic. :D

Otherwise it's just slaughtering without fun..

I don't think the current sa-mp is suitable to do something like this. Not in the way you picture it.
In MTA it is possible, remember the ion cannon/nuke tutorial? Downside is that nothing seems to happen with 3.0 :N
