Persistent / permanent, call it as you please - a gang that is created using the /gang create command will stay assigned to your account until such time as you leave using /gang leave

On a related-note, we have now implemented the ability to see which gang a player is in! This used to be an admin-only feature, but it's now available for all. Say you wanted to find out which gang I was in, you would use /gangs George and an output will be displayed. Also works with the player's ID.
