Linux is for the logical left-brainers only, Mac is for left-brainers as well as creative right-brainers, and Windows is for those who don't use their brain at all. :7
It's unfortunate how Linux is stuck in what I'd like to refer to as a catch-22 situation when it comes to commercial software. I.e. Photoshop doesn't support Linux mainly because the majority of the user base won't pay for it - the people who would use Linux and pay for Photoshop don't use Linux because it doesn't have Photoshop.
I tried using it for a while, emulating PS with Wine and all that. TBH it was more annoying than useful. After using a Mac for some time, I'm a 100% Mac user now.
Why does Windows suck, one might ask. Well, if you've used a Mac for more than 2 weeks I bet you won't be saying that anymore.
