She said that God created thousands of people at the same time.Your teacher has her own interpretation of the bible. She's one of those people who believe that some parts are true (maybe other parts are not) and almost everything can be read the way you want it. That's the easiest form of religion I can think of. You can suddenly explain everything that's not right, because you can just make something else out of it until it makes sense.
There's one thing that I can't understand with Christianity. Bible says that Earth is ~6000 years old. How do then scientists find fossils which are up to 100 000 years old?
It's changing god's rules, changing your precious book since you know that it’s wrong. You can sleep better at night since all those nasty scientific questions have been answered in the easiest way, but deep inside you know that it’s not right.
About the fossils, do you believe something that someone once wrote down, or something that has been proven by science many many times and that you can see with your own eyes. Think logical for once, act like you were not indoctrinated throughout your entire childhood. The choice is simple;
-The bible is wrong, there is no god
-Science is wrong, there are no fossils
-Your very own interpretation of the bible, semi-religion, making changing the religion until it makes sense. (But deep down you know its a lie)
This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill - the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill - you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes.
