Do as she said, use SAATs GUI Fronted tool :9~
But its a common problem that melee sounds gets fucked while modding sounds

In my previous san andreas folder I would hear the sound of a bullet whenever i pressed Space (to run)
Like when u have max speed, then release the gas, a lil bit of that sound would come xD
