I got mine for around 900€, I built it buying the single parts (it's easy) and it's perfect for gaming imo:

Processor: Intel Core i7 920 @2.67 GHz
Motherboard: Asus P6T
Memory: 8 GB, 4x Kingston 2Gb sockets @ 1.333
Video Card: Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4850

Choose whichever case you like, and add a good 900W PS. You will save your money and you'll have a better pc  ;)
