French or Latin?! HELP!

Zu Französisch kann ich keine eigenen Erfahrungen posten, aber meine Freunde die franze haben finden es auch sehr schwer und scheiße xD.

Die Aussprache und Schreibweise ist für mich kein Ding, Türkisch liegt da schon etwas nah.

Ich müsste halt Spaß dran haben, ansonsten würde ich kaum dafür lernen. Der Stoff wird bei uns auf der Fachoberschule ziemlich schnell durchgezogen und nebenbei muss ich den Schnitt (2,8 oder besser) für die 13. Klasse schaffen! Machbar ist das unter anderem weil die Extemporalen und Klausuren in der 12. jedoch noch nicht benotet werden. Ich möchte aber trotzdem dafür lernen, so wenig wie möglich, damit ich es in der 13. Klasse leichter habe.

Welches wäre denn nun einfacher & schneller zu lernen/kapieren? Schon Französisch?

I kinda just want to pass and have fun at learning it, otherwise I wouldn't because of the lack of motivation.

The reasons that I was told to choose Latin are, that:

- it is logical like maths
- it has a lot of philosophy
- you only translate texts at lessons
- the verb is always at the end of the sentence
- it is the 'mother' of roman languages, like French, Spanish, Italian etc. ->  easier to learn those afterwards
- you pronounce it as you write it
- limited amount of vocabulars

French:

- nice language
- alive
- 'key to a nice culture'
- trust Keith
- easier than Latin?

But is that really true? Is it really easier to learn than Latin? I think I wouldn't have that many problems with the pronouncation. So, if the French grammar is easier and faster to learn, I will definitely decide for French..

I think I want the easier one because I will need to have a specific grade point average to attend the 13th grade. I won't get any marks for the second foreign language at the 12th grade yet, which means I could fully concentrate on the other subjects only. But I want to study for the second foreign language as well, just as little as possible so that I can get the specific grade point average and the right knowledge to get at least 5 out of 15 points at French/Latin at the 13th (final) grade.
