Because of the holocaust card, the fact that British and American politicians stand behind them and some other reasons you should find out yourselves.. 
Israel is being hated world wide for its illegal existence and Nazi Germany like politics. If you were on the streets when the "flotilla crisis" happend, you would have seen Jews on the streets with anti-Israel signs as well.
No one is hating on a particular race (Israelis are a pretty mixed up folk anyway) - there's a difference between being a Jew and being a Zionist. It's just Israel portraying as if everyone are hating on Jews.
