I fucking hate Insua. He makes to many fucking mistakes and screws up the game all the time. Notice how Lyon were mostly attacking on the wing... Fabio Aurelio is a great player though, makes some sick passes and can cross the ball really good.

Gerrard was taken off after 30 mins to keep him fresh for Sundays big game. I didn't see a difference in the game anyway, Gerrard only touched the ball once.

Yeah was a good game. We deserved that win. Aurelio is the next Gerrard I think. Not there yet but he shows promise.
The ref was okay too, never stopped it every 5 seconds. Although that offside goal...ouch...

But even though I like to keep the faith, I don't think this is our year in the CL...seriously. There's still hope in the PL though, and Saturday can help show that.

Ouch turns out we may not even have Gerrard to face Man U!
