UEFA CL/Europe League - Shark - 08-26-2009
Topic to discuss football, since we have no subforums for it.
Can someone explain me, because I can't understand how stupid this shit is. First and second hand games. Both games resulted in a tie. I'm talking about Sporting and Fiorentina. Just because they scored 2 goals away, how is that supposed to give them advantage? That's fucking stupid. A tie should be a tie.
This "system" that UEFA decided to follow, gives advantage to the team who plays away in the first-hand game. How can this be allowed, this is fucking unfair. Not to mention the shit referee they picked for our first game, where Fiorentina would punch our players n do anything they wanted, but no red cards to them, only yellows, and the ones who already had yellow cards didn't get the second yellow after all the shit they did.

When you aren't eliminated with fucking injustice you don't care. If you saw Sporting vs Fiorentina in the first-hand game you'd know what I am talking about.

Well to be fair, I am quite gutted about Fiorentina not getting through. Because of that Rangers are in the third seed, where as we'd have been put into the second seed if yous had got through. Oh well.

Stupid though, it should of stayed as UEFA Cup.And...uhm...I actually thought this would be our year, but Liverpool lost 2 out of the 3 games this season in the PL. The ref in the 2 losses were complete idiots, and I don't mean to be bitter but it's the truth. But that doesn't excuse them from the fact that Liverpool should of still won the games. We lost only 2 games last year in the PL, and we lost 2 now, and only had 3.
I don't see Man U winning anything this year, because...well...the only decent players they have left are Rooney and Macheda. If it's not Liverpool, then my bets are on Real Madrid.
In the Europa, if Everton play the way they did the first and second leg on the previous match, they may well win it...'cuz they were pretty good! Even though the team they were facing were crap, Everton are too so it shows hope for them
