What I always wonder is how scientists can decide if there's life possible on a planet or not.
I mean, there are some fish that lives thousands of meters below the sealevel, if a human'd go that deep he'd get crushed by the water and die, but those creatures can live there fine. So why could there not be life on Mars, or any other planet for that matter, because there's nothing _we_ need to stay alive? Maybe there is life on other planets even though we don't think it's possible, just because they adapted to their surroundings and can actually live without water or air.
