Stupid Computer

So i'm just surfing the web and all of a sudden my computer crashes. So i reboot it and when its about to load XP, it crashes again. I'm able to run XP in safemode with no problems, so im thinking its my XP install or a virus thats the problem. Don't know which....if anyone has any ideas, please share

Lol exact same thing that happened to me on vista tried everything to fix it, but nothing worked.  After calling dell they said my OS crashed and I had to re-format my hard drive and use my recovery disks to re-install vista , safe mode also worked for me.  But this isn't like your problem, just the symptoms are the same .
