Stupid Computer - cloakster - 07-29-2009 So i'm just surfing the web and all of a sudden my computer crashes. So i reboot it and when its about to load XP, it crashes again. I'm able to run XP in safemode with no problems, so im thinking its my XP install or a virus thats the problem. Don't know which....if anyone has any ideas, please share Thanks Re: Stupid Computer - Matthias - 07-29-2009 0.o didn't expect you to make a topic here since you know anything about computers I don't really know XP, but Vista has this DVD which you can use to go to the last time your computer safely started or just re-install Vista, if XP has that DVD too maybe you can use that? (Sorry if I said something stupid, just trying to help ) Re: Stupid Computer - Rien - 07-29-2009 I thought you were the computer guy here anyways, tried a system recovery yet? Re: Stupid Computer - cloakster - 07-29-2009 nvm, i now believe that its my video card since it boots fine with my on-board video. New computer here i come Re: Stupid Computer - Mike - 07-29-2009 Interesting. My ol' desktop did the same thing a couple weeks ago. I haven't touched it since.
