After /taxi, a 3-5 second period where you're stationary and vulnerable to all attacks.

I say you need more than  half health to use taxi at all. It will defenitly  lower that times people use /taxi, and so when people try to do it just so their amune to weapons they still need more than half health. 

Only problem: some people whi arn't abusing it like for example they stuck in SF and half only  1/4th health, they can't get back to LV..

Not a bad idea, You type the command, /taxi, and perhaps a 10 second counter could appear saying your taxi will arrive in 10 seconds, or somthing...

We could use keypress checks to make a timer, e.g. you can only /taxi five seconds after you've been standing still.

Not a good idea. That would cause quite a lot of lag, The timer would have to be constantly running, checking every player for when there key state changes...

After yu type /taxi it doesnt appear for 4/5 seconds, then badeends idea afterwards

well if a player does use hotkeys, it will be obvious because the player will disappear instantly, instead of stopping to type.

maybe u could do /maptaxi and then a map comes up at u pick any where u wonna go and the taxi takes u there ?

btw please make a longer taxi command. zaibatsu aka sirmo will not taxi away. he taxis himself aswell
