Working on a project

Hello guys, I've been working on a mere project and been trying to figure out Pawno.
As some of you know, not many people have made an as good server and long-lasting community like LVP has. I want to figure out how to make a DM server as good as LVP was, with lots of RW and WW.. none of the stunting, freeroam crap.
Pretty much a gang vs gang vs gang type of thing, a server for clans and single player to test their skills.

Anyone also interested in doing something like this? Contact me.. I'd like to work on everything before buying a VPS for it.

P.S. - I know I should've went to the official samp forums but I know LVP is more of a dead server now and their are many good developers around this community.

I think you should spend that time learning some other programming language that may benefit you in the future and not waste time on something that won't have any result due to sa-mp being dead.

Learning PAWN and on top of that developing a DM based gamemode is a total waste of time. The DM side of sa-mp is much smaller compared to the RP side, and is slowly dying away. All the DM action nowadays is in clanwars and WW's.

Making a server successful with a DM based gamemode is almost impossible nowadays since the scene is slowly but certainly dying away.
Even the most popular servers (Lw's, LVP) have basically died so what makes u think that u can get a brand new server more popular than the thousands of other servers out there with similar gamemodes? The answer is u can't. And if u're even gonna cut the freeroaming and stunting side from ur server... man u have no chance to make it successful.

If u want to even have a tiny chance of making a successful sa-mp server, I'd recommend an RP one. But that will be even harder since there's already a dozen servers with huge playerbases and great, complex gamemodes.
