Started to lag...
#1
Hi there,

One or two weeks ago, i re-booted my pc. Before i've done that, my system was very nice, was nicely working. And i'm using Win 7, and the same gfx. But now, i re-installed SAMP, my system started to lag when i have high speed in game (top speed with infernus, hydra etc.). It ain't lagging when im on foot, but when i'm in a vehicle, the screen starts to seizing up. May it be because of 0.3e? Or maybe because of dust?

EDIT: When i have high speed, objects (main objects) are taking time when loading, and that causes a lil bit lag. Any ideas about how to fix?

Nah, already tried it. Don't know why does it lag... Using the same gfx driver, same windows, everything is the same like before. But it lags, although i have 2gb ram, hd 3800 gfx, amd dual processor, really weird..

Could you tell me what processor you are using? Also, maybe it would be better for you to increase your intern memory (RAM), or close programs which use a lot of memory. There are two possibilities for this to happen. When you drive at full speed, your computer has to load the objects quicker than if you walk. If you got a pretty old and slow CPU, the loadtime will be slow and that can cause you to have FPS Drops. The other thing is, you have a too low amount of RAM. Windows 7 requires 2 GB RAM, because it uses like 1gb+. If you have to load many objects, it will use a lot of  memory (RAM) from your computer. If it's full (overused), it will load slower because it has to remove other stored data (if you get what I mean)..

If you have no idea what I am saying, I will translate it next time to normal human language.

Edit + p/s: I would also like to note what LE7ELS makes sense. The lower view distance, the less objects it will load.

Thanks for your reply Biesman, but i don't think this causes because of what you said there. Because, my system can hold popular games like GTA IV, Mafia 2, Crysis 2 etc. And can play them easly, althought it is Win 7(before i re-booted my pc). But, i want to share a pic with you, i think i've found the problem:

Couldn't pass the systemrequirementslab test because of my current WIN7 version. I think it ain't original, so i gotta buy a one :D

But i wonder, does it really effect gaming performance?

Windows 7 is not the problem. 80% of us here is using Windows 7 to launch GTA:SA, so am I. With 2 GB RAM I highly doubt your PC can run GTA IV without any problems, especially Crysis 2.
I do see you are using a 32bit Windows 7, while your CPU is designed for 64bit PCs.

You can try the following: As I said, increase your RAM. 4GB in total should be enough. Install 64bit Windows 7 and try it again.

Not @ higher quality, but yeah it can. I was thinking to do that, i will re-boot it again, than will share the results with you, thanks for helping out.

I wouldn't recommend you to install 64bit on 2GB ram, because you can't. You need 4GB RAM to use 64bit.

My old win7 was 32 bit though, so i don't think that's the problem. And yeah, just seen that 4gb is required for 64 bit. I'm going to re-boot it with my old format cd (32 bit).
