Policy on client-side mods

Flymod in particular. I've set allow-flight to false in the server properties, but there's still a few players who keep using it, despite getting kicked every now and then. Does anywone have an opinion on this? I personally think we should start being a bit more strict when it comes to flymod.

It lets you fly about. I think because we allow VIP's to have MagicCarpet, and it tends to be very buggy, we shouldn't be as strict with VIP's then we should with Builders. I certainly think Builders should not be allowed to use this, nor do I exactly believe that VIP should either, but it should be more harshly enforced on Builders. In short; No fly mod (imo).

Let's find/create a working /mc alternative then, so we can forbid anything else.

To my mind flymods / mc is used too much, I rarely use it unless I'm building huge things. As I said before vanilla MC ftw, but I also agree to the fact, that it's really annoying to build huge projects without it, maybe we could do something like /mc for something else, for example /mc for 1 session = X diamonds/gold/iron or whatever.

That would be pretty sweet if possible. We could enable it for everyone then, maybe with the difference that it would be free/cheaper for VIPs, while it has a cost to it for other people.

Note: I am coming home later today (tomorrow for me). I’ve been at my grandparents house. Apparently Europeans don’t use top sheets? (the one between the blanket and the bed)? It’s been driving me fucking nuts -_-

lol, like every European does the same thing :D Lot of countries!

Why do we not allow it in the first place?
