However, whenever anyone else uses the N-word ingame, all of the other players jump to the conclusion that it's racist and in chat say "BAN RACIST". If someone uses the N-word where they aren't using it to flame someone, I will kick. Simple as that. Then, I get 6 PM's saying "Your supposed to ban for that, not kick!".Also, even if a new player will use it in a derogatory way, I will kick first. However, a regular would get a ban. The rule is simple, if you follow it, you don't have to worry!

But to answer the question; If the lyrics are showing hatrid, and are referring to them as "niggers", than yes, I would kick. However, if the word is used with no real meaning to insult, than I would most likley PM the person, and let them know that the N-word could be taken as racist to some players. Once again, it all comes down to the context.

Just a question...has anyone ever complained about racism in LVP? Like anyone ever complained about the use of the word? Something I find funny though is the large majority of users that still play LVP (About half a dozen) don't find it any more offensive than faggot/dumbass/retard. In-fact I can only see maybe 1 person every month getting pissed off about it. And that one whiner would be a white kid who was told "nigger got owned" or something after being fucking slaughtered in a fight and feeling a little butthurt.

If I and about 3 others suddenly stood up and said "WE FIND NERD AN EXTREMELY OFFENSIVE WORD, START BANNING FOR IT BECAUSE WE'RE NERDS AND THAT'S DISCRIMINATION AGAINST US" fuck all would change.

Problem I think we have here is that in the past we decided to simply disallow the word in any form and context due to a lot of bitching about it. Things seems to have "cooled down" since then and it has become more common, in some ways. I believe a lot of people still think in that way and thus got you that warning.

Now, I believe the rule I made in the past was like I said above, disallowed in any form or context. This still applies as it hasn't been changed since it's been made. I'll start a topic on it in private forums.

You know what, you shouldn't be a moderator in this case. You ABSOLUTELY MAKE ZERO SENSE. First, what the fuck does "hatrid" mean? Second, I can't conclude anything from your post, it looks like you want to kick for the lyrics, and at the same time you say you don't.
Third, my question remains yet same as Jordis, how can a black person be offended over the internet if someone tells that he's a nigger? Do you think everyone takes the internet seriously? Much opposite - everyone act like they don't give a shit. Personally I haven't seen any complaints from someone who got called a nigger. Looks like you don't even know what the word context stands for.

If the lyrics are showing hatred then you'll kick? How exactly would you know if the lyrics are showing hatred and not just repeating something they've said in a previous song? Some songs (and in particular for this word, rappers) do that sometimes.

And kicking because the song is showing hatred (or it's a diss-track) is pretty stupid I think. If it just spams the word "nigger" or something then fair enough, but not just because it's a hateful song. Will you not be happy until everyone just sings Barbie Girl like TEF?

And I bet if Fat_Cobra said "no European / British faggots" he wouldn't have got banned. You'll probably try and say he would've got that 5 day ban but I've seen it enough (not just online) to say otherwise.
