Whisky lover here too. Not much experienced though. I only drink whisky when it's cold outside. And ofcourse, Irish Coffee after dinner (throwing cheap blends like Grants through the coffee).
Isnt Johnny Walker like crappy shit whiskey? I never drank it before, thats just what i heard by some friends. The only whiskey i am drinking once in a while is Jack Daniels Single Barrel, which is awesome.
Can sombody compare Red/Black Label johnny walker with JD?

Red Label is just standard blended stuff. JD and JW are totally different types of whisky's I guess, starting that JD is from Tenessee and JW from Scotland. It's too long ago since I've had them, so I can not say which I like more or less

Red Label is just some kind of 40% drink that they call whisky. For somebody who never had a whisky before, it won't be bad. But if you had others, you never want Red Label anymore
Black Label is a lot better and can be called a proper whisky. It's older than Red Label and that gives a stronger and little more smokey taste; a hell of a lot better. Both JW are blended btw (more whiskys blended together).
JD is a bourbon whisky which has something to do with the barrel it's made in. It has a very smooth and full taste. But don't expect something smokey or very high quality.
Short: Red is disgusting, Black is one of the better blended whiskys and JD is just an all time favorite with a nice full taste.
