Whisper, they are doing this experiment to try and find out information about the 'god particles' which are small holes in scientists theory of the big bang.

Jesus christ this thread just exposes all the fear mongering newfags in here. The particles aren't even colliding until a few months(?). All they're doing is turning it on and firing one set of particles in. They will send the others later. When they collide thats when all the shit happens.
