well as you know im from the US and the US guns/weapons law is obvious . the age and reason to carry a weapon etc.

well where i live right now is Saudi Arabia and the weapons permit law if pretty different from the USA totally.

and the conditions for having a weapon permit as following:

First
*the person is allowed to have "6" weapons Only and the weapon's Permit is 10 years Renewable , and each weapon has it Permit .

Second
*the applicant has to be 21 years old and above.
*a print from nearest Police station in your city or/and a print from the City Princee office and has to be two Witnesses about your Behaviour and a stamp from your work place.  incase the applicant Jobless or works in a Private Business or estate he has to get print from the City Mayor .
*ID Card and a copy of it.
*Photo in 2x3 size "a photo Per weapon application"

Third
the weapons that you're allowed to hold.

MachineGuns:
*AK-47 and it all kinds.
*all kind of Machineguns that has 1 Magazine Only Like MP5 etc.

Rifles
*all types of Shutguns.
*M14 Rifle .
*MK I and MK III.

Handguns/Pistols
*all types of handguns/pistols as colt-45.
*Makarov.
*9mm Pistol.

and NOT allowed to carry in Public places and/or occasions.

Weapons you Can NOT get permit to hold are:
*Glock 17 .18 .18 . 17 Pistols and it all types.

reasons: it made of a Plastic and it difficult to detec in the Airports etc. but as soon as they update whole the Airport system they will re-look about the Glock 17.

*Machineguns as you see them on the Military Convoys as M-60 etc. that uses Large Criterions and Magazines.
*all Type of weapons that has Silencer in all types.
*all the israilian weapons such as UZI etc.
*all types of Saudi Arabian Weapons Made as G3 etc.
*all type of Hand Made Weapons.
*all Modified weapons .
*all weapons that has no Serial Numbers was removed or ruined in this case he has to get a serial Number for the weapon thru the Interior Ministry.


That all info about having a weapon in Saudi Arabia .

PS:though they dont check houses for Illigal or none licenced weapons , but they exposes the Illigal weapons where there a Fire happens in your house and the Fire Dpt. checks and finds stuff so then you're pwnt.

about 14 years old has a gun? erm is that hard ? i dont think so , and i think everyone has to get a chance to carry a weapon even to shoot with it at least once. btw this topic was made about GIVE some info about the weapon law in your country im petty sure its not act a kid typing useless stuff

Well, from what I know about Australian gun laws:

You can get a licence to have a rifle or shotgun, if you have a valid reason (farmer, for example).
You can get a pistol (not sure on the specifics) if you are part of a shooting club and do it for sport.

Not sure how many witnesses you'll need or "referees" or w/e.
Not sure on the laws for policemen- whether they must keep their government-issued revolver (revolver in Victoria, semi-automatic in NSW) with them or wherever.
