Usually, the best way to do spoilers is to make it the same color as the background, but that wont work here

It does if you shoot them in certain areas of the body.
If you hit them in the arm, they just get back up.
If you hit them in the chest they stay down for a while but eventually get up and beg for their life.
If you hit them in the head they die instantly.
