anyways, if you open a .dff file you will see there are some .jpeg's in it, am i right?.
you can extract them and edit them then overwrite the normal file with the edited one (make back-up's), and then you have to compile ;) otherwise the mod just wont work

TXD != DFF
TXD files store the textures, DFF files store the geometry and UV coordinates.

I ported a nice little M4 carbine from Hitman: Blood Money to Source, and I tried to get it in .dff format so I could use it in GTA:SA. The exporter failed on the skin, and it crashed on startup.

Shame, 0.2.2. R3 allows no mods.

I use R3. I have mods.


Also, I am downloading a trial of 3ds max 9, IT IS AT 2% AND HAS BEEN foR THE PAST 20 MINUTES :(


Also, @Erin, where can I get that hydra mod? xD

Who knows what programs that arent 3dsmax that I can use to edit .dff's? :)
