You on regular adsl? cause at my parents it goes really fast > 1,5 Mbps on some torrents i guess its about as fast as telenet.

hah, i might post one of my school, we got 125k  synchronized DSL,  125MB down and 125MB up.

here in my house i wont post the stats, because they change every single second due to my WLAN.

Oh, I did not even focus on the distance, and it was jokes, and damn my speed is super slow, I am wanting some fiber-optic action with EPB, but we maybe moving to Athens.(Our local power company is EPB.)

You guys make me want to cry. Highest I've ever had is 4~5mbit/s on an ADSL2+ provider, but now I'm on BT waiting for a fibre trial to start:

It never reaches 1mb
120kbps download is all our lines can handle.
Uploads at about 20kbps.
