I'd go for the M8 anyday. You can drop that motherfucker and it'll break the floor instead of the other way around. They're really solid and it's actually a step forward if you compare it with HTC's latest top-end phone (the One). As Jhon said, you can't really say that about the S5 if you compare that phone to the S4 or the S3.


IMO the M8 is the best phone out there.

But also on a serious note, I'm also looking for a good smartphone myself preferably Android so I can run an application that records my phone calls for when I do interviews for my radio show I don't have to use my mates phone.
These two phones are definitely the best in the market!

Basically, I like the Galaxy's impressive camera and its durability... and I like HTC's premium design, boomsound front speakers, and smooth UI.
