I just read this article about a 19 year old killing himself and livestreaming it to justin.tv, I'm really shocked by what I read, as well as the comments from the people who were on the livestream:

Actually I agree with the last quote of yours. I have no pity or whatsoever for faggots who suicide on stream or in public.
If someone really wants to end his life, hes up for it, but he has no fucking right to drag other people into his shit, maybe giving hundreds of watching ppl psychological problems.
Suicide is tragic but fine for me, but not if other people get harmed. He could have just jumped down a bridge or something, without creeping the shit out of a few people. If someone really wants to give up, its his decision, but not in a way like this..

I don't sympathies for people that commit suicide. Sure, it's sad, as any loss of life is, but it's a bit of a selfish thing to do. Especially if the person (in any situation, not just this instance) have family, or kids or something. +1 Hitman.

I have to agree with MacSto. He seemed like he has problems, but there are better ways to deal with things in life than ending it. It's very selfish.
However, I do think the people who were egging him on are right pricks. Who encourages someone to kill themselves, even if they don't think they'll actually go through with it?

Honestly, who goes on the internet, expecting a mass of people watching you to comfort you? If I'd be there I'd probably be one of the guys telling him to do it. Sure, I'd feel bad afterwards, but odds would've been that it was just a cry for attention.

yea I remember hearing about this when it happened, I believe the kid took pills or something. It's always sad to hear that someone killed themselves but it's really fucked up that he decided to do it in front of a bunch of people, honestly I wouldn't expect any less from the people who said what they did, I don't know why he would. And the thing was it wasn't the first time he had done it so honestly I don't blame the people for thinking it was just another cry for attention like Rien said.
