Loading / Mods - Weezy - 10-14-2010

These days, I installed some car mods, like ferrari and lamborghini. but since, it's slow for the street to look normal, like it needs to load ect i need to look around me so it loads well.. anyone got an idea?  :'(

remove the mods?

Re: Loading / Mods - Munch - 10-14-2010

You have too many mods for your game + pc to handle or you have a particular mod that the computer / your GTA doesn't like.

Back when I used to make mods I had this problem once. Due to me not fighting much back then it didn't matter...but flying a stunt plane in an invisible forest isn't nice. :(

(Just uninstall the mods and install a couple at a time).

I doubt his PC can't handle it.. I think he has a Core i7 980x and a GTX 460 or so.

Re: Loading / Mods - Weezy - 10-14-2010

The thing is, I got no idea how to remove them. I didn't make any back up file :/ and i'm too lazy to reinstall cause I got some pretty nice mods like sound mods and weapons mods that everyone uses without having any problem and that toke me a while to install ect. =[ anyone know some software i could use to fix this or something i could do?

His PC doesn't have to be crap / average for the mods to mess up the texture loading. They can still be too much for his PC can handle. When it used to happen to me my PC was about a year old and was pretty advanced (at the time).

And the only thing I can think of if you have no backups is if you know what cars you've recently installed mods on and ask someone if they can send you the original files for that car. If not then you'll have to get a new gta3.img which is by default just under a gb big (so I doubt someone will just send it to you over MSN).

Re: Loading / Mods - Carbon - 10-15-2010

too many mods , if u have set ur files to the GTA folder , propably then try to find the RARFiles/maps also some backups and see their name then just simply go and remove em if not u cud use IMGTool or GTA San Andreas Mod Installer , because i dont rly know how u did install them so its a bit harder to tell.

You can have the fastest pc on the wolrd, if you dont maintain the windows,
it can drown to a level of a pc from 2004.
Weezy, my tip is to go to options and set the draw distance to a higher level until the problem is solved.

... Try reading the topic. He's not lagging, his textures load slow. And it was fine before so draw distance isn't the problem either.
