Translations - Jerome - 09-18-2009
Hello there LVP, I am looking for (trusted) people from different lingual backgrounds (as many as possible) to translate some sentences for my gamemode. So far I have German, Turkish and Norwegian. If you speak a language that isn't one of those please let me know in here or by PM.
So far the languages translated (Thanks to those in brackets):
- Swedish (Lithirm)
- Dutch (Twilight)
- Norwegian (Maggs from LSW)
- Turkish (LastRace o/)
- German (Guy I know from LS-RP)
- Portuguese (Beethi)
- French (Producer)
- Romanian (Oasis)
- Spanish ([X4_MSN]Luis_Flores)
Still need alot of languages, so any help appreciated.
No online translators because they fail o/

Like help messages, not even that .. more like important memo's like "Speak English in mainchat" "Use /report!" etc. because I'm thinking .. and LVP started doing this some time ago .. if people can't actually understand the rules .. how they meant to follow them

Well obviously German, French and Spanish. Russian .. Romanian, those kind of main languages used on SA:MP.

Do you even really need the translated messages? The only reason LVP have them is because there's at least 30 foreign people in game every day.
You should be focusing on actually getting these 30 foreign players and then some, before worrying about them when you have no players to begin with.
It's basically wasted time preparing for something that might not even actually happen.
Side note (to almost all of the players from LVP who've started a server of their own): Copying features and details from a server that had success isn't going to instantly give you 100 players and regulars.
Edit: Why didn't you just copy the translations from the topic that's already on the forum? I wouldn't have been surprised if you had.
