San Andreas on Vista? - Nj - 09-02-2009
Hey, just a basic question, i got a new laptop that runs on vista, do i need a patch or something to play san andreas on it? This question has already been asked and answered, but i cant be bothered to search for the post.
Anyone willing to help?

I think you can play SA-MP with Vista, but there are a lot of bugs with it which lead to crashes. I'm not 100% sure if this is right, I just hear a lot of people (Hitman) crying about it all the time.

SA worked stable on Vista for me, Runs fine on W7 aswell

SA and SAMP run very very nicely on Vista !! The same as on XP ! I tested both with SAMP so

Runs fine, just that when I minimize too often sometimes I get a black screen when switching back to SA-MP.

if you got x64 version of vista it sux, if you got x32 your chances that it works fine might be higher.
XP and W7 work fine, but currently its a pain in the ass for x64 users like me. according to kye and dugi all the vista problems are fixed in 0.3 tho
