PC freezes. First topic in here yay - Zezima - 06-29-2009 Ok so i turn on pc , if i go and do shit on internet nothin happens , if i go watch movies nothin , if i go play eny game like SAMP or Deer hunter , after 30mins of playng my pc starts to freeze for like 1 sec and then the sound goes like Brrrrrr and screen freezes for 1 sec , then it unfreeze , anfter 6 secs it happens again , and even if u restart pc it still hapens , u need to turn of the pc for like 10mins , then u turn on again and its fine , but if u go ingame again , it starts again.. P.S - the pc allways is like hot when that sound starts to happen and when i go play games my pc gets like hot , but why that shit happens when it starts to freeze Re: PC freezes. First topic in here yay - Hitman - 06-29-2009 Yep, some thing is definitely too hot in your comp. Check either your CPU's temperature with the tool "RealTemp" and your videocard's temperature with RivaTuner. If your CPU temperature is above 70-75°C its getting critical. A videocard shouldnt be above ~80-85°C core temperature. Re: PC freezes. First topic in here yay - Fireburn - 06-29-2009 What Hitman says, this really is a heat related temperature. If it only happens when you intensivly use your computer, like gaming, it really is a sign the PC is getting too hot. Check your temperatures with the program Hitman mentioned, and post them here. If they are too hot you need some better cooling for your PC. Re: PC freezes. First topic in here yay - Hitman - 06-29-2009 Maybe you can try opening your computer case and see if the problem is there somewhere. I mean, if your CPU fan is full of dust, it cant cool properly anymore. Also make sure that nothing is "blocking" the airflow of your cpu fan, like cables or something. Re: PC freezes.
