Nvidia 7300gs is the best there currently is, and 256MB ram should be all you need

best card is GeForce GTX 295, and there isnt any "best" ram. But ram-brands like Corsair, OCZ, G.E.I.L. and G.Skill are pretty good quality.

If you are interested in spending an exorbitant amount of money on something you won't use a tenth of, then buy one of these:
It has 32 GB of ram, and 2 gigs of video ram (four nvidia cards).
