New rap vs Old rap - [SWK]Nemesis - 06-08-2009

By old i mean:
Notorious B.I.G
Parish Lesane Crooks aka Tupac Shakur
Eazy E
The Outlawz
Jay Z
Nas
Ice Cub
Mack 10
Dre
etc

By new rap i mean:
Lil Wayne
Eminem
The Game
Soulja Boy
Gucci Mane
DJ Khaled
etc

Imo Makaveli (who lives, fun fact  :+) and Eazy E just dominated old rap, and none of that stuff lives on now, Old rap wins by far, just hope it comes back cos im sick of listenin to "skiit skiit skiit skiit" and "look at my grillz"

and on a side note

Re: New rap vs Old rap - Darius - 06-08-2009

I prefer old school rap over new school. Only music I listen too really (old school) but what about old old-school xD. (80s round about)
Big Daddy Kane
Eric. B and Rakim
KRS-One
NWA
Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five (now they're old old old-school 70's)

talking about olds-school, don't forget Coolio!  8)

Oh comeon, you've got to admit that some of them have talent. Just listen to Big Daddy Kane his lyrics are amazing. They flow really well too.

Darius, some rap is listenable, and I might go as far as to say 'ok', but most isn't good at all.
