And yeah he got them to the Europa finals, he went...uhm...4-1 (i think) down against Juventus in one leg and went on and won it in the second leg. You don't see many average PL side do that, do you?
He's no Shankly but he'll do well.

Yeah that's nice money but it's too much, these people shouldn't be paid so much to do something that anybody can do. Not many footballers these days commit like they used to and are becoming pretty lazy and it's because of the wages.
Years ago you never got much money in professional football and players would finish a match covered in blood (through commitment, not fighting). They don't even fight other players much any more because they just don't care. That's why the England squad fails so much.
