BUT thats all okay, you're clearly powerlifting and going for maximum weight and low reps, with more focus on weight than actualy bodybuilding which needs lower weight for higher reps, you don't need to have your abs showing when powerlifting, CT Fletcher was a fat fuck when he set the strict curl record for example If he don't need legs to do what he does then it doesn't matter, just like it don't matter whether you have a visible six pack or any form of cardio, no ones gonna say "hahah fat cobra can't run a triathlon" when you're not training for it Re: REALLY Inspirational Videos - HaZe - 03-14-2013 Zydrunas Savickas Deadlifting 1117 - World Record 2012 Arnold Classic Strongman Zydrunas Savickas, one of my lifting heroes Re: REALLY Inspirational Videos - [SWK]Nemesis - 03-14-2013 (03-14-2013, 02:16 AM)HaZe link Wrote: Zydrunas Savickas Deadlifting 1117 - World Record 2012 Arnold Classic Strongman Bars gonna snap soon, now thats impressive Re: REALLY Inspirational Videos - HaZe - 03-14-2013 that's like superhuman strength man Re: REALLY Inspirational Videos - Fat Cobra - 03-14-2013 doing bodybuilding as well since its important for strength gains, doesnt matter how much u tryna justfiy his neglect since its on purpose, not impressive with lazy ppl. upper body training cant be compared with squats or deadlifts on level of exhaustion mentally or physically. That i will definitely agree with you on, they're the most tiring exercises you can do, especially deadlift for me anyway Denis Cyplenkov, RUS VS John Brzenk, USA - worldofarmwrestling.com John Brzenk, possibly the greatest armwrestler there will ever be The comparison lol
Re: REALLY Inspirational Videos - Maddolis - 03-14-2013 Savickas is my favourite athelete ever. I can't come close to comprehending 400+kg deadlifts, 220kg+ loglifts and a 92kg giant dumbbell press for 9 reps. I'd love to see him once before he retires. In greatness perhaps. Guys like Kazmaier you'd expect to be fairly equal if they were around today, though they technically aren't by raw numbers as of now. Paul Anderson would also be one of those folks, Louis CK too perhaps. Riku Kiri's another example of a strongman that was an absolute beast, though underrated as he never won WSM. Also met Svend Karlsen and Nick Best, also very humble and incredibly friendly. |
