And whether you like to deny it or not, it's a fast thing. But no worries. Mexicans only died because it was new, no one knew what it was or how to cure it, and Mexicans aren't the richest in the world. But now we're fine. Re: Pig flu - LyNx - 05-01-2009 wow 8 and 230 it was 2 and 40 like last week Re: Pig flu - Jerome - 05-01-2009 (05-01-2009, 12:03 AM)Munch link Wrote: It said something about 8 people getting it in UK now. Apparantly, when the first " couple " brought it to the UK it must have gone through a weakening stage or something, maybe because it's hotter in Mexico or something? But anyways, the virus they brought back was less virulent than the one in Mexico. So for now ... people have only died in Mexico for that reason, but all could change as this strain might get used to the UK and become more virulent, eventually killing people. As it passes from people getting treated with the anti-virus ( which contains more of the actual strain ) it may become more and more resilient to the treatment, then goping from that person, into the air, causing an all together more virulent strain. Re: Pig flu - LyNx - 05-01-2009 i dont think it will get that bad Re: Pig flu - Jerome - 05-01-2009 (05-01-2009, 12:11 AM)Walkman1 link Wrote: i dont think it will get that bad Well, i think we should just be ready for the worst. I have a bad feeling about this, this feels more serious than bird flu. I am at the moment trying to just chill out and forget about it, it's not too serious atm, but like i said, it feels different his time. And it must be different this time, this kinda shit never happened with bird flu, and that DID kill people. Quote:Other precautions against an epidemic were revealed by Prime Minister Gordon Brown. |
