whatever happened to the fuel system idea? they have it in las venturas RPG, but lets face it, Las venturas playground is much better than las venturas RPG!!!! We should definetly bring the idea back

In the Dutch section there is a topic about properties. There I left a little idea what will make the game more exitement.
What if a few admins make some secret properties outside LV? So people have to search for those properties. It would be a new term like: propertie-cruising.
What do you think?

I was with some admins once " property cruising" - finding new properties to place
I think the fuel system would be strange, but it might be ok! But what about cruises
But then should you be able to fuel-up anywhere, with a command or have to go to a fuel station? It would be funny to see people pushing a tuned car or something, or a stolen tuned car to run out of fuel when someone just stole it!
If a fuel system is implemented, I think the command idea for anywhere would be much better, but if I had a choice I would not want fuel in LVP

I don't think it really adds much to the game and is just annoying if you run out miles away. Are you meant to chase some one round the map and escape by making them run out of fuel or sumin. Of course theyll probably be a whole load of infinite fuel cheaters and that would be very hard to spot.

And 99% I'm sure that you don't know all the props ingame. I guess even I don't know them all, some I know only by name, but not the location.

And running out of fuel.. no way!
Have you ever looked at ALL the gasstations in the game?
Probably LV alone has more then 10 gasstations. And with the new object system in SA-MP 0.2 (http://sa-mp.com/blog.cml) it should be possible to get the gasstation object, and build 10 gasstations in a row
And maybe a command to fill your gastank, for 100x the normal price, or call a garage... or...
So, you don't need to run out of gas

Whats the use of the fuel system anyways then if there are so many stations around? Then its even better to have no stations or fuel system at all and save the resources for something real good!

Fuel systems are irritating. They are a big turnoff for me
And this is a playground, we should be able to do stuff freely, without a limited feel

It would add a new thing to do in cruises
If a fuel system is added, maybe add a command that gives you unlimited fuel for a very high price for 30 minutes or so.
Adding a timer would help those who timeout or crash so the money spent was not for nothing
