Balearic trance usually has mediterrean things in it, for example spanish guitar things, and real 'uplifting' melodies like hearing the ocean and sea, and just a general summer feel to it. To put it simple, you've got to be able to imagine an actual chillout to this music. A beach, the sea, love, peace, you know.
Others might call it Ibiza trance too but that is less used for obvious reasons. It came out of balearic house.
