And this could have a negative impact on the sales figures of gta v, if gta v also gets a release date in fall 2012.

If Rockstar was to do their own show similar to E3, it'll probably end up being more successful then E3.
Rockstar might make a surprise appearance, wouldn't be the first time. Whatever happens, I think we will hear alot of V news once Max Payne is released next week.

And as for anyone who hasn't heard or read, apparently a GTA V vehicle list was outed on the GTAForums here. Note that it isn't the complete full vehicle list, just some... and probably some that won't make it into the game.
