The maximum number of players is 16, although various modes have limitations on the number of players that can join.

On consoles, my friend.
On PC the maximum number of palyers is 32.

Hmm , on SysReqLab , my pc passed everything except i don't have a core 2 quad. It passed minimal requirements but failed recomended because i dont have core 2 quad. I have a core 2 duo. Everything else passed by far. Will i be able to run gta4?

Btw i can run Crysis on medium/high settings. And crysis has almoast the same requirements as gta:iv.
