if we're talking about REAL fireworks/firecrackers and you "injured" your hand... it would be more than hurt.. more like severed. you have never heard of people blowing their fingers and or hands with fire crackers?

errm..yeah. But I had fireworks go off in my hand, and I still have a hand. I'm not ashamed to admit it, I'm a fuckin' pyro. I have a 4th of July party every year at my house, with at least $600 worth of SERIOUS fireworks. The ones that went off in my hand were those little ones that are all tied together. The fuse was to short and I didn't realize it. Had my hand been closed when they went off I'm sure it would be gone. Lucky for me my hand was open cause I was in the process of throwing it when it went off.
That kid should be compensated for this. It was not his fault for being at a wrestling show, and sure as shit not his fault the pyrotechnics screwed something up and the rocket fell from the zip line. Besides, if u look at all the videos of that show on youtube, they had WAY to many fireworks. Totally unnecessary for being inside. If it was you, or your son you know damn well you would already have a lawsuit filed.

But that kid wasn't the only person people. They are some who are in the hospital. (3 people to be exact)

Yo HaZe, same thing happened to me except it was a bottle rocket, hit me right in the face. And he aint lyin either. I admit, he IS dumb but it did happen..And the cops were called and a boy named Josh (one of our friends) was arrested, while I was upstairs "playing" the PS2.
Back to the topic:
I hope that boy gets at LEAST 100,000 for that bs, WWE needs to be more careful in these situations.

WINKNews.com is carrying a story about a fan who got hit by the pyro in the accident at WrestleMania XXIV last Sunday at the Citrus Bowl. The fan happened to be a government reporter for the Charlotte Sun Herald who was enjoying the show when all of a sudden the cable that carried the rockets got cut and landed among the people. "It shocked us, the kid in front of us was hit by a firework and the paramedics came in," he said. "So you know that was pretty scary." Around 40 people were injured during the accident which happened just before the PPV came to a close. Although the reporter said he complained to WWE about the situation he said he'll still remain a fan no matter what. "16oz beers and sitting there yelling' your head off having a good time...that' s what it was all about," he added. So far there have been no word of lawsuits against WWE by any of the people who were injured. WWE launched an investigation to see what caused the problem.
^. So it seems that there won't be anyone suing.
